                                    PE, LEED & AP

The availability of various levels of Mechanical and Electrical redundancy to support Data Centers. Design solutions can vary from providing one UPS system (No Redundancy) to a more complex with 100% Redundancy. The presentation will review the four basic levels of redundancy as defined by the Uptime Institute. The Uptime Institute has been a leader in the computer industry helping to identify

Data Center issues and offer “Best Practice” solutions. The decisions made regarding redundancy must be a joint effort between IT and Facilities.
