TCHEA meeting November 20th at 12:00pm

  • November 20, 2013
  • 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
  • Ft. Snelling Officers Club

Regular monthly meeting.

Education to be presented by Gardner Builders:

Part 1 - CMS Reimbursements:  Most healthcare organizations rely in the United States rely on Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements to provide needed care for their patients,  But the recovery of facility costs for these services relies on accurate space management and reporting.  We will examine how healthcare owners can use BIM to facilitate space reporting and simplify the submittal process for Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement"

Part 2 - Preventing Infections in ORs:  The CDC estimates HAIs cause or contribute to over 99,000 deaths each year.  New Technologies are enabling better and more iterative modeling of air flow, heat, and turbulence in our ORs.  These tools are showing us that often the air flows across the biggest contaminant in the room (the surgical staff) and then over the patient.  In response OR design is being revolutionized to minimize turbulence and better control the direction of the air.
